Getting started
New to Ownbit? Start here: what it is, how to install it, and how to create your first self-custody wallet.
What is Ownbit?
Ownbit is a non-custodial mobile wallet for cross-chain MultiSig and air-gapped cold storage, operated by BITTOOL PTE. LTD. (Singapore). Your keys and seed phrase are generated and stored encrypted on your own device and are never uploaded — Ownbit cannot access, freeze, or move your funds.
OpenInstall Ownbit
Ownbit installs like any mobile app: from the App Store on iPhone/iPad, from Google Play on Android, or as a direct APK for Android users who prefer it. Always install from the official links below.
OpenCreate your first wallet
Creating a wallet in Ownbit takes under a minute. The one step that matters most is backing up your mnemonic (seed phrase): it is the only thing that can restore your funds, and Ownbit's servers never hold a copy.
OpenWatch-only and cold wallet
Ownbit's cold storage uses two phones. One is taken permanently offline and holds your private key — the cold wallet. The other stays online but holds public keys only — the watch-only wallet. They exchange nothing but plaintext QR codes.
