Supported chains
Ownbit supports cold-wallet signing across all chains listed below. MultiSig is supported on the subset marked below.
OpenQR code format for offline signing
Ownbit's cold wallet crosses the air gap using QR codes whose contents decode entirely to plaintext. There is no hidden proprietary protocol — each QR carries a defined prefix, and you can decode any of them yourself.
OpenPublic protocol for third-party wallets
Besides its own bb_* format, an Ownbit cold wallet can act as the signer for other wallets using published QR standards. The other wallet imports a public key, builds the transaction, and hands Ownbit a request to sign offline. This ships on Android 5.x.
