MultiSig web console

The Ownbit MultiSig web console lets you manage and co-sign MultiSig wallets directly in a browser — nothing to install. It is built for teams and companies that operate many MultiSig wallets and need to review and sign at scale.

What is the web console for?

The mobile app is ideal for creating wallets and signing on the go. The web console adds a larger surface for treasury operators: a dashboard of your MultiSig wallets, their roles and thresholds, and the ability to review and batch-sign pending transactions across many wallets at once. Open it from the Web Console button on the Ownbit homepage, then scan the QR code with the app to log in.

Is it still self-custodial in the browser?

Yes. The web console holds no private key or seed — only public-key information. It coordinates management and shows what needs approving, but every signature is produced on your phone by scanning a QR code. Your keys never enter the browser, so signing authority always stays with the participants' own devices.

Batch signing at scale

The console's advantage is simply the larger web surface: it's easier to display and review data, check details, and batch-initiate or batch-sign transactions. There is no wallet-count limit. Note that the web console can currently be logged into one MultiSig wallet at a time — you switch wallets by logging in again.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where do I open the MultiSig web console?

Click the Web Console button on the Ownbit homepage, then scan the QR code with the Ownbit app to log in. Nothing to install.

Do I need the web console to use MultiSig?

No. Everything works in the mobile app. The console is an optional larger surface for reviewing data and batch-initiating/signing; there is no wallet-count limit, though it logs into one MultiSig wallet at a time.

Is the web console non-custodial?

Yes. The browser holds only public-key information, never your private key or seed; every signature is produced on your phone via QR. The console only coordinates the workflow.
